About The Position

Our DAS technicians lead and support installation crews during large in-building wireless deployments. We install antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optics, and supporting equipment that power distributed antenna systems. Projects often involve working with RF components, headend equipment, and fiber infrastructure while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The team communicates closely with project managers and customers to keep installations moving forward safely and efficiently. During projects, we also troubleshoot coverage issues, review floor plans, and assist with site surveys when improvements are needed. Experienced technicians often mentor newer team members and help maintain documentation, inventory, and installation quality throughout the project lifecycle. Travel is required for most projects, typically 90-95% nationwide.

Requirements

  • DAS installation experience
  • At least two years of low voltage cabling experience
  • Experience installing coax, fiber, and structured cabling systems
  • Knowledge of RF sweep testing and PIM testing
  • Experience with fusion splicing, fiber terminations, and OTDR testing
  • Familiarity with RF testing equipment such as Anritsu or EXFO
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in active construction environments
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

  • Experience leading crews or mentoring junior technicians
