About The Position
Sparta Networking is supporting leading aviation maintenance organizations nationwide in the hiring of experienced FAA-certified A&P Mechanics for travel-based contract assignments. This role supports heavy maintenance programs, line maintenance operations, aircraft modification projects, and AOG recovery assignments across airline and MRO facilities throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is flexible, safety-focused, and open to short- and long-term project assignments. Contract opportunities available with potential for long-term placement.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – Required
- Minimum 2+ years commercial aircraft experience
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide
- Must provide standard A&P tools
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Heavy maintenance or line maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled heavy maintenance and line maintenance
- Troubleshoot and correct aircraft discrepancies
- Remove and install aircraft components
- Support modification and conversion programs
- Conduct operational and functional checks
- Travel to assigned project locations as required
- Complete FAA-compliant documentation
