About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech in a hospital setting in Sidney, Montana. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of 10/01/2026. The position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with a rotating 4x9-hour day shift schedule. The role involves performing general ultrasound exams, including OB imaging, preparing and positioning patients, operating ultrasound equipment, documenting findings, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will collaborate with radiology staff and referring clinicians, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and participate in rotating call coverage.

Requirements

• General ultrasound technologist with OB training
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work day shifts with a 4x9-hour rotating schedule
• Willing to participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend per month)
• Available for a 13-week travel assignment in Sidney, MT

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams, including OB imaging, using independent judgment to optimize image quality
• Prepare and position patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and document findings clearly
• Verify patient information, ensure safety and patient comfort, and maintain compliance with department protocols
• Collaborate with radiology staff and referring clinicians to coordinate exams and communicate results
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; adhere to quality assurance practices
• Participate in rotating call coverage as described (average one weeknight per week and one weekend per month)
