Travel SLP – Acute Care | $2300 weekly
About The Position
Travel SLP assignment in acute care in Canton, Georgia (30115). The contract lasts 13 weeks and provides 40 guaranteed hours per week. The shift is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some variation. At least two weekends per four-week period are required; four weekends per four weeks are preferred. A stipend package option is available to help maximize take-home pay. The role serves ICU patients and patients with stroke or other neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, cognitive-communication disorders, and general medical and surgical needs. Requirements
- At least 2 years of SLP experience.
- Prior acute care experience is preferred and considered especially important.
- Must meet the location restriction: candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS).
- Experience with Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES).
- Prior acute care experience.
