About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital IMCU/Stepdown 5RP Unit is hiring for a Registered Nurse for a Temporary Traveler Position! This Unit provides care to the following types of neuroscience patients: Back and Neck surgical patients, Epilepsy patients, All neurosurgeries (brain, pituitary, etc.), and Stroke patients (surgical and non-surgical). Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to neuroscience patients including back and neck surgical patients, epilepsy patients, all neurosurgeries (brain, pituitary, etc.), and stroke patients (surgical and non-surgical).
