Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care/Stepdown
About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital located in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring an experienced Traveler Registered Nurse for the IMCU Stepdown unit. This is a temporary, full-time, 14-week assignment for the NIGHT Shift. The IMCU at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with a variety of surgical, cardiac, and post procedural neuro cases that stepdown from ICU. This unit sees a ratio of 1:5 with mixed patient acuity levels and is well supported with additional patient care technicians, educators, and a strong leadership team. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
