About The Position

A leading regional healthcare provider is seeking a Travel RN for its Emergency Department in Muskegon, Michigan. This is an onsite, 13-week contract assignment with a possible extension. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines. The schedule is three shifts per week, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Unit orientation is provided. Contract employment is through The Employee Connect, with dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent emergency room RN experience.
• Active RN license valid in Michigan, confirmed during screening.
• Strong triage and assessment skills.
• Ability to work three shifts per week, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM.

Nice To Haves

• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
• Trauma center experience.
• Experience with Epic or a similar charting system.
• Travel or contract assignment experience.
• Strong references from recent nurse managers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to support well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
