About The Position

This is a 13-week contract position for a Travel RN in the Cath Lab. The role involves performing an age-specific plan of care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process. The RN will collaborate with physicians and other health team members to coordinate procedures and treatments, utilizing leadership skills and clinical judgment. Responsibilities include assessing patients' physiological and psychosocial health status, identifying patient outcomes, formulating and implementing care plans, evaluating care provided, collaborating with the care team, performing specific procedures like Decubitus Care and medication administration, and participating in patient and family education. The position also includes performing related duties as required.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required.
Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.
Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut, required.
BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.

Responsibilities
