About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, providing short- and long-term assignments across its health system. Travel Registered Nurses fill critical staffing needs and may work in a variety of practice settings, locally or nationally. This Emergency Department position is at MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center in Iowa, for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week, with a gross weekly rate of $2,484. The RN must be qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The role involves applying the standard elements of professional practice, acting appropriately within the nurse’s license and scope of experience, maintaining accountability for delegation and decisions, collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to quality improvement, and adapting to new responsibilities, ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for the Emergency Department specialty.
Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
