About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, placing registered nurses in short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This position is for the Main OR at St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho. The assignment is 13 weeks, with a day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. The listed gross weekly rate is $2,520.00, and the start date is ASAP. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available, with travel within a local region or nationally based on the professional’s choice. Nurses may be required to float throughout a hospital or across multiple hospital locations or regions. FirstChoice nurses fill critical positions arising from unforeseen circumstances or extended leaves of absence. The program offers a variety of practice settings and learning opportunities, along with premium pay and flexible scheduling. The position is part time. Travel and per diem opportunities are also available through the program.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for Surgical Services and other specialties listed as remaining specialties.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions as qualified and willing.
Apply the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Act independently and appropriately within the scope of the RN license, knowledge, and experience in the practice area.
