About The Position

FirstChoice, Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, employs registered nurses for short- and long-term assignments across the health system. This Behavioral Health RN assignment is at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa, and is expected to last 13 weeks. The position requires floating throughout the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available; travel may be local or national, depending on the assignment. The RN practices within their license, knowledge, experience, and specialty scope; follows professional practice standards; remains accountable for delegation and clinical decisions; collaborates on quality improvement; and adapts to new responsibilities, cultural differences, and competing priorities. This assignment is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week and lists a gross weekly rate of $2,520. The start date is ASAP.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state or states of practice or employment.
Have a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience for Behavioral Health and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
