Travel Registered Nurse - Surgical Unit
About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Surgical Unit! This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment for a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) on the Inpatient Surgical Unit. The unit primarily serves the CarePlex postoperative patient population and experiences a quick turnover of patients. Care is provided for patients with complex needs across a wide range of surgical specialties, including Vascular, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Podiatric, Colorectal, Bariatric, Plastic, Gynecologic, and Urologic. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional postoperative care. Occasionally, care is provided to patients with general medical needs. Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH stroke scale
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
