About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Evening Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at the Maryland Correctional Training Center in Hagerstown, MD. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients. Travel RNs assigned to Maryland can earn up to $3,085/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with opportunities throughout the country.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland.
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility.
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.
Work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location.
