About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Women's Eastern Reception Diagnostic Classification Center in Vandalia, Missouri. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs. Travel RNs assigned to Missouri can earn up to $2,021/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees and will work at various facilities/locations throughout Missouri based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Must be 90+ miles from designated facility.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
- Working between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, per contract needs.
