About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, MD. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs. Travel RNs assigned to Maryland can earn up to $3,085/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities nationwide. This specific assignment will be at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, MD, with potential to work at various facilities/locations throughout Maryland based on contract needs, though each assignment is restricted to one location.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland
Must live 80 miles from facility
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
