About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team, providing comprehensive services to the Georgia Department of Corrections in correctional facilities across the state of Georgia. RNs on this team have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. This role operates under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Georgia RN license or the ability to obtain a license
- At least two (2) years of RN experience
- Must live 50 miles or more from facility
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Georgia as needed per contract needs
- Current CPR/BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
