About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in an ambulatory surgery setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care throughout surgical procedures while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with clinical standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ACLS and PALS certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing duties
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
- Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff within the OR
- Float within perioperative services as needed
