About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled across a wide range of surgical procedures and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Experience with a broad range of surgical cases, including robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in handling complex and specialized surgical procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during a variety of complex cases
- Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures and respond to changes
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
