About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking ICU RN's for multiple travel/contract positions in Bay City, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. This role involves providing all aspects of Nursing care for patients in the ICU Unit. The nurse will also float to the ED or SDU as needed. The position requires the use of clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. Collaboration with other members of the health care team is essential for developing, implementing, and evaluating an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals. Participation in patient and family teaching, and recording information concisely, accurately, and completely are also key responsibilities. The nurse will participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revise the plan of care based on assessment.

Requirements

Registered Nurse: 2+ years - Required
ICU Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2+ years – Required
Comfortable floating to ED or Step Down when needed - Required
ASN or an equivalent – Required
RN License for State of MI - Required
BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
NIHSS Certification - Required

Nice To Haves

Neuro Surgical experience - Preferred
Open heart experience - Preferred
Prior Travel experience – Preferred
BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred

Responsibilities
