About The Position

This is a temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) with a start date of 10/19/2026 and a duration of 13 weeks. The role involves direct patient care in a hospital setting, with leadership responsibilities and adherence to Nursing Department standards. The position offers weekly pay ranging from $2,003 to $2,167 with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a rotating shift.

Requirements

Active RN license (unrestricted) to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation training; active at start date or plan to renew if needed.
Graduation from an accredited RN program; eligible for licensure.
ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department and adapt to a travel assignment.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within established standards of care.
Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other staff levels.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor patients, perform ongoing assessments, and respond to clinical changes.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; communicate with patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and department policies; apply de-escalation techniques when needed.
Document care accurately; participate in shift handoffs and engage in quality improvement activities.
