About The Position

Per Diem Staffing Systems, Inc. is one of California's leading healthcare staffing agencies with over 35 years of experience. They are seeking 3 experienced Travel Registered Nurses for the CVOR Department at Stanford Health Care. This is a 51-week contract position requiring 36 hours per week on rotating 12-hour shifts. The role involves participation in a call rotation. Candidates with 5+ years of CVOR experience may qualify for a higher pay rate. The position requires the ability to scrub and circulate for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, and experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center is preferred/required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage these types of cases.

Requirements

• Current California RN License
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Current ACLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 3 recent years of CVOR experience
• Previous experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred/required
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment
• Strong proficiency with EPIC
• Ability to scrub and circulate
• Must have experience working in a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Call participation required
• Associates Degree
• BLS certification
