We are currently seeking skilled Travel Registered Nurses specializing in Operating Room (OR) care to join our dynamic team. As a Travel RN in the Operating Room, you will deliver expert perioperative nursing care in diverse surgical settings, working alongside multidisciplinary surgical teams. This role emphasizes adaptability, clinical proficiency, and a commitment to patient safety in high-pressure environments. Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state(s) of assignment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and operating room procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within surgical teams.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to travel for temporary assignments across various healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgical teams by preparing the OR environment and ensuring sterile conditions.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly and effectively.
  • Apply knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques to support surgical procedures.
  • Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
