Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in California
Nursing degree (ADN or BSN) required; BSN preferred
Inpatient or behavioral health nursing experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Ability to work in an inpatient adolescent behavioral health setting and to work 4x10-hour days
Willingness to travel to Saint Helena, CA for assignment

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to adolescent inpatients per established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient care and decision-making.
Support nursing administration tasks, including scheduling coordination, staffing resource allocation, and balancing staffing to patient and unit needs.
Communicate with the treatment team to develop and update care plans, ensure safety, and provide patient- and family-centered care.
