About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse ā Acute Care for an exciting Contract opportunity in Hot Springs, SD. This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour variable shifts and 36 guaranteed hours weekly. The pay rate is between $50 - $55/hr.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- South Dakota RN License or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Holiday Coverage Required.
Nice To Haves
- Acute Care or Hospital Nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, respiratory treatments, and other prescribed therapies.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Delegate and supervise appropriate patient care activities.
- Assist with orientation and mentorship of new staff members.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities.
