About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a Family Birth Center setting. This role includes Labor & Delivery, OR, PACU, and Postpartum/Couplet Care responsibilities while supporting patients throughout the childbirth experience in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License.
- Minimum four (4) years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Current NRP Certification.
- Current STABLE Certification.
- License must be active and in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OR, and PACU preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery nursing care.
- Support patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
- Assist with postpartum and couplet care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
