About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Dietitian in Fort Myers, FL. The role involves providing medical nutrition therapy in hospital and long-term care settings. A stipend package is available to maximize take-home pay. The contract length is 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week. The shift is flexible, with start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, and includes an 8.5-hour workday with a 30-minute lunch break. The position requires the ability to float to various work locations including Cape Coral Hospital, Lee Memorial Hospital, Gulf Coast Medical Center, and HealthPark Medical Center / Golisano Children’s Hospital. Local candidates within 50 miles are not being considered.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years experience
• Clinical Dietitian experience REQUIRED
• Active Florida Dietitian License required
• Comfortable working with adult/geriatric population (55+)

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy in clinical and LTC settings
• Assess patient nutritional needs and develop care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans
• Educate patients and families on dietary needs
