About The Position

We’re hiring a Colorado-based Medical Assistant to complete preventive-care visits while traveling throughout the state. This is a temporary/seasonal, non-exempt W-2 position expected to last through January 2027, with possible extensions. The role involves supporting Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities by completing scheduled in-home member visits, taking vitals, performing approved point-of-care testing, and documenting visits accurately in the EMR/EHR, all while adhering to clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, credential, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
• Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
• Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
• Ability to travel throughout Colorado, complete overnight assignments, and occasionally travel to nearby states

Nice To Haves

• Medicare Annual Wellness Visit or preventive-care experience
• Home-visit, mobile-care, field-based, or community health experience
• Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing

Responsibilities

Benefits

• Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits
• Eligible extended travel expenses are covered, including transportation, rental car when needed, hotel, and meals
