About The Position

We’re hiring an Arkansas-based Medical Assistant to complete preventive-care visits while traveling to different U.S. markets based on coverage needs. This role involves bringing MA skills directly to patients at home. The project is expected through January 2027, with possible extensions. While generally scheduled for full-time hours, actual hours may vary based on patient volume and assignment needs. The minimum guaranteed hours for a week with insufficient patient availability is 20 hours. The schedule is typically 8 AM–5 PM, either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday depending on the assignment. Travel is nationwide across the U.S. based on business and patient coverage needs.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, credential, or equivalent qualification
  • Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
  • Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
  • Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel anywhere within the U.S., including extended and overnight assignments

Nice To Haves

  • Medicare Annual Wellness Visit or preventive-care experience
  • Home-visit, mobile-care, field-based, or community health experience
  • Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing
  • Well-Child Visit experience

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled in-home member visits
  • Support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities
  • Take vitals, complete screenings, and perform approved point-of-care testing such as A1Cs and UAs
  • Document visits accurately in the EMR/EHR
  • Follow clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures
