About The Position

We’re hiring a Washington-based Medical Assistant to support preventive care through scheduled in-home visits while traveling to different U.S. markets based on coverage needs. This role involves completing scheduled in-home member visits, supporting Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities, taking vitals, completing screenings, and performing approved point-of-care testing. You will also support Well-Child Visits when assigned, document visits accurately in the EMR/EHR, and follow all clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures. Home visits will start in King County, WA, but assignments can be anywhere within the U.S. based on business and patient coverage needs. You should expect frequent travel, including extended and overnight assignments. Schedules are typically provided about two weeks ahead. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits. Required travel time is paid, including out-of-state travel and flights to and from assignments. Eligible travel expenses are covered, including transportation, flights when needed, rental car when needed, hotel, and meals.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential
  • Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification
  • Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
  • Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
  • Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel anywhere within the U.S., including extended and overnight assignments

Nice To Haves

  • Medicare Annual Wellness Visit or preventive-care experience
  • Home-visit, field-based, mobile-care, or community health experience
  • Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing
  • Well-Child Visit experience
