About The Position

This is a nationwide travel role for an Arkansas-based Medical Assistant who enjoys independence, patient connection, and hands-on preventive care. The role involves completing scheduled in-home member visits across the U.S., helping members stay connected to care, and supporting Medicare Annual Wellness Visits directly in the community. This is a W-2, temporary/seasonal, non-exempt role with variable hours, expected to run through January 2027, with a possibility of extension. The base location is Little Rock, AR, but the travel scope is nationwide.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or credential
• Experience taking vitals, completing screenings, supporting point-of-care testing, and documenting clinical information
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally, including overnight assignments when needed
• Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
• Strong organization and follow-through with visit documentation, scheduling changes, and field-based workflows
• Ability to meet required onboarding and compliance requirements, including vaccination and TB/PPD documentation

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
• Experience completing in-home or field-based patient visits
• Preventive-care screening experience
• Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care workflows
• Well-Child Visit experience
• Background supporting older adults, pediatric patients, community health, primary care, or mobile care programs

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled in-home member visits in different states based on coverage needs
• Complete Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities within your Medical Assistant scope of practice
• Take and document vitals, health screenings, and other member information
• Perform approved point-of-care testing, including A1Cs and UAs
• Support specimen collection and other assigned clinical activities, as applicable
• Document visits accurately and on time in the designated system
• Follow clinical workflows, safety procedures, infection-control practices, and HIPAA requirements
• Work independently in the field while staying connected with clinical and operations teams
