About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Travel Med/Surg Ortho Trauma Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in an Orthopedic Trauma specialty unit in Plano, Texas. The unit has 36 beds and patient ratios of 1:5, with flexibility to 1:6. Day and night staffing each includes one charge nurse, eight RNs, and three CNAs. The unit uses telemetry equipment and Meditech electronic medical records. The nurse may float to all Medical-Surgical units as required. Staff wear royal blue scrubs. Staff are expected to arrive for huddle by 0645 for day shifts or 1845 for night shifts. Four weekends per month are required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience.
- BLS certification.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Availability to work four weekends per month.

- Experience with orthopedic and/or trauma patients.
