About The Position
A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a dependable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) setting. This role involves providing direct patient care, medication administration, and supporting residents with chronic and long-term health conditions during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active LPN License (Nebraska or Compact State License)
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- BLS Certification required or preferred per facility guidelines
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician
- Provide comprehensive care to residents, including geriatric and pulmonary patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow infection control guidelines and facility safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and ensure safety during night shifts
