This role is located at Our Lady of Peace facility in Lewiston, New York, within the Nursing Department, on a full-time night schedule.
Requirements
- Must possess Basic Life Support Certification credentials, required.
- Current New York State LPN License, required.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing, required.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year medical-surgical skilled nursing home experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications and treatments, monitors residents’ medical conditions, reports changes, and provides direct nursing care under the supervision of the Unit Manager and RN Supervisor.
- Maintains accurate medical records, protects confidential information, and ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement programs.
- Supervises CNAs, assists physicians during procedures, supports residents and families during crises, and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Upholds the facility’s mission and core values through professional conduct, ongoing education, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
