About The Position

The LPN Travel Nurse assists in delivering patient care within assigned correctional healthcare settings under the supervision of Registered Nurses. This role supports the nursing process by participating in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The position guides patient teaching and clinical activities based on demonstrated competencies and scope of practice. This role supports safe, compliant care delivery while adapting to different facilities and clinical environments. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
One (1) or more years clinic experience required
Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time.
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within the states of practice
Current CPR certification
This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs under RN supervision.
Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and carry out medical plans according to practitioner orders and protocols.
Provide clinical care and respond to health emergencies using established procedures, safety techniques, and standard precautions.
Document nursing encounters and communicate patient information to healthcare providers and staff.
Support daily clinical operations, including controlled substance counts and assisting with procedures as needed.
