About The Position

This position is located at Leisure Travel Mini Mall, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The Travel Clerk assists patrons with information about available leisure activities, ticket sales, reservations, and special accommodations for tours, sporting events, theaters, and special events. The position also helps individuals plan itineraries that do not require commercial transportation, including hotel reservations and local services or information. The clerk receives payments, issues receipts, and documents business transactions.

Requirements

• Experience dealing with the general public and performing financial transactions.
• Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
• Submit a resume of no more than two pages that clearly demonstrates relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
• Direct deposit and a Social Security card are required.
• Satisfactorily complete employment verification (E-Verify) and applicable pre-employment checks.
• A Tier 1 background investigation may be required for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide patrons with information about available leisure activities.
• Sell tickets and make reservations.
• Arrange special accommodations for tours, sporting events, theaters, and special events.
• Assist individuals with travel itineraries that do not require commercial transportation, including hotel reservations and local services or information.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and document business transactions.
