About The Position

The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator is an experienced Trauma Registered Nurse who supports performance improvement at Doctors Medical Center. The role includes advanced clinical practice, quality improvement, and education for hospital and pre-hospital employees, with a primary focus on the Performance Improvement process. The coordinator performs duties as directed and collaborates with the Trauma Program Manager.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• Current ACLS and TNCC; TNCC must be obtained within one year of hire.
• At least four years of current experience in the specialty, including critical care or emergency nursing experience in a Base Station or Trauma Center.
• Knowledge of performance improvement processes and implementation of PI/QA.
• Pre-hospital experience.
• Strong organizational skills and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to write routine reports, design forms, retrieve data, and communicate effectively with management and staff.
• Ability to work independently.
• Certifications and licenses required by law, regulation, or policy for the profession and state of practice; AHA BLS, and, if applicable under corporate policy for the unit, AHA ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP.

Nice To Haves

• BSN.
• Previous teaching experience in an acute care hospital.
