About The Position

Take the next step in your career with TouchPoint as a Trauma/Burn ICU Dietitian in Indianapolis, IN! This position covers the trauma/neuro ICU and burn units at a 500+ bed, Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Requirements

Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
CNSC required or willing to obtain
Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
