Trash Valet
About The Position
Ally Waste is hiring part-time evening Trash Valets to collect tied trash bags from apartment doorsteps and transport them to designated community dumpsters or trash chutes. The role involves working independently outdoors in all weather conditions, staying active, and helping maintain clean, smoothly operating apartment communities. Applicants should have an open-bed pickup truck, although the listed requirements specify reliable transportation rather than explicitly requiring a truck. Routes are scheduled Sunday through Thursday, starting at 8 p.m. Shifts typically last 30–40 minutes per night, for approximately three hours per week. Pay is $25 per night.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proof of auto insurance listing the applicant as a covered driver.
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone.
- Ability to carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to walk stairs and remain active for 1–2 hours.
Responsibilities
- Walk the apartment community and collect tied trash bags from residents’ doorsteps.
- Transport collected bags to the designated dumpster area or trash chute.
- Take and upload photos using the company app.
- Follow safety guidelines and use the provided personal protective equipment.
- Work independently outdoors in all weather conditions.
