About The Position

ESFM, Compass Group USA’s Integrated Facilities Management division, is hiring a full-time Trash Technician in Chicago, Illinois. The position collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials according to established safety procedures. It may also involve assigned cleaning functions and operation of designated cleaning equipment. The schedule is full time, with open availability preferred; hours and days may vary.

Requirements

At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
Perform cleaning functions as assigned and properly operate designated cleaning equipment.
Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
