About The Position

The Trash Technician collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials while following established safety protocols. The role may also include cleaning functions and operating designated cleaning equipment. The technician is expected to recognize safety hazards and act accordingly, and to perform other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position at 7817 Greenbrier Rd, Madison, Alabama. Multiple shifts are available; schedule details are provided during the interview. The pay range is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Previous janitorial and forklift experience is preferred, but training is available.

Requirements

Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
