Transporters - Kona Airport
About The Position
Transporters drive and deliver vehicles locally or outside the area as needed, following traffic laws and delivering each vehicle safely and courteously. The role may involve riding with or following another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles, as well as other job-related duties. The position is based at Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport in Waikoloa Village, Hawaii, pays $17 per hour with weekly pay, and includes morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends. Work involves driving, walking, standing, and bending, including in outdoor and inclement-weather conditions.
Requirements
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather and outdoors for shifts of up to eight hours.
- Must be able to safely get in and out of vehicles and handle the physical workload.
- Must be able to drive for shifts of up to eight hours.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for shifts of up to eight hours.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or outside the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
- Deliver vehicles to the appropriate destination safely and courteously.
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
