About The Position

Provides courteous and safe transport of patients and/or supplies throughout the facility. The role also performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of hospital or customer service experience is listed under experience; the posting does not specify whether this is a minimum or preferred qualification.
• Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED or higher.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout the hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
• Maintains a safe and germ-free environment for all customers.
• Documents all patient transports on the appropriate departmental log.
• Inspects equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Completes assigned goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
