About The Position
Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a responsible Transporter to join its care team. The role uses company vehicles to transport patients to and from Pate facilities, medical appointments, residences, essential errands, and other activities as needed. The Transporter also assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles and transports supplies as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, stakeholders, and team members.
- Must pass all pre-employment and employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from Pate facilities, appointments, and residences in company vehicles as needed.
- Adhere to the established transportation schedule.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of company vehicles and promptly report any issues to a supervisor.
- Assist patients with entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
- Transport supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
