About The Position

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a PRN Transporter. Reporting to the Division Operations Manager and working under general supervision, the Transporter safely, efficiently, and promptly transports patients throughout the MUSC campus while maintaining a high standard of patient care. The role also supports moving and positioning medical equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, beds, and related items within the hospital.

The Transporter operates the hospital employee shuttle between a designated local parking lot and the hospital, and frequently operates golf carts to transport patients between designated parking areas and the hospital. The position requires a high school degree or equivalent, BLS, and a valid South Carolina driver's license. The stated experience range is 0–6 months.

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is a regional acute care facility with 396 patient beds, more than 1,500 employees, and nearly 300 physicians. It provides services including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, orthopedic and general surgery, diagnostics, women's health, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 0–6 months of work experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license required.
