About The Position

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a Transporter for its Central Transport department. The role safely and effectively transports patients, selects and prioritizes transports according to policy, and communicates transport status to appropriate departments. The Transporter demonstrates courteous communication and follows the hospital hand-off process.

This is a registry position with various shifts and rotating weekends and holidays. Registry employees who meet eligibility may participate in the 401(k) Savings plan with a potential match; registry employees are not eligible for Health and Welfare benefits. The expected pay is $16.00 per hour, although the final rate may vary based on factors such as licensure, certifications, experience, education, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, and market data.
