Transporter PT Days
About The Position
Seeking a part-time Transporter responsible for the timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout the Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. This role also involves transporting specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels as designated. The Transporter performs a variety of other support services functions as needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. This is a part-time position working 48 hours biweekly, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and days varying. The position is located in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
- Healthcare experience preferred
