About The Position
Transports patients throughout the hospital for diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural services, and assists with patient care duties as delegated by a registered nurse. Safely transports patients and other necessary items between patient rooms and ancillary departments. Provides timely delivery of miscellaneous items while maintaining a high standard of customer service to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of care throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities
- Transports patients throughout the hospital, assists with in-coming helicopter transports, and transports deceased patients to the morgue.
- Responds to code blue (cardiac or respiratory arrests) situations and initaties chest compressions.
- Responds to patient falls and other emergent situations.
- Complete assigned tasks within department expectations.
- Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
