About The Position

This role is responsible for continuously monitoring the delivery status of inbound loads, identifying those in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date. The coordinator will provide timely and accurate communication regarding inbound purchase orders in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date to allow for the development of effective mitigation strategies. The goal is to maximize on-time deliveries into Publix facilities by initiating contact with warehouse receiving departments, suppliers, and manufacturing plants. This includes tracking seasonal items, highly sensitive items, and expedited transfers, as well as monitoring delays at shipping and receiving locations to minimize cost to Publix and ensure carriers are compensated for the time delayed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation, or an analytical field.
• Be able to work flexible hours and be available on weekends.

• Be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests (before their start date in the position).

Nice To Haves

• Current Lakeland Distribution associate.
• An associate’s degree in Business, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ clerical experience working in Transportation.
