About The Position

Schneider is seeking a Transportation Team Leader in Fort Worth to oversee all inbound and outbound activities at a distribution center. The role leads a team of logistics associates and identifies, develops, and executes continuous improvements for customers.

The position manages the distribution center’s transportation budget, resolves transportation and shipping issues, communicates actions taken to customers, builds relationships with internal and external customers, and reports performance metrics. The role is performed onsite at a warehouse and may require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of previous supply chain, logistics, or transportation experience.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work onsite at a warehouse.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of logistics associates.
• Manage the transportation budget for a distribution center, including reviewing all charges.
• Resolve transportation and shipping issues and communicate actions taken with customers.
• Coordinate and implement continuous improvement processes.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Report performance metrics.
