About The Position

Responsible for the directing and managing the activities of the Transportation Department on assigned shift in accordance with established company policies, procedures and controls. This role involves supervising and directing the operations of the Valet, Shuttle and Limousine and Bell Department on assigned shift, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The position also assists in investigating accidents, resolving customer and Team Member complaints, and maintaining departmental records.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Valid State Driver’s License and excellent driving record.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers and other Team Members of company.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; run; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and directs the operations of the Valet, Shuttle and Limousine and Bell Department on assigned shift.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the Transportation Department by interviewing, recommending for hire, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating Team Members, as needed, under the direction of the Transportation Manager.
  • Observes activities and procedures of Transportation Team Members, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of assigned shift.
  • Oversees the cost-efficiency, staffing and uniform standards of Transportation Team Members.
  • Assists in investigating any accidents involving Transportation Department Team Members and recommends appropriate actions to be taken.
  • Ensures a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Ensures to a high degree the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Resolves customer and Team Member complaints or problems in a manner consistent with the Company’s expectations.
  • Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Ushers for events as needed by management.
  • Performs any reasonable request made by management.
